Every living day you have a choice to just be happy, and be in a state of presence and content. Take in what is it around you and enjoy. Being in California is much easier to do so—sunshine tax goes both ways, and you’re constantly surrounded by peaks and sunrises and Karl (the San Francisco fog) sneaking around. There is duality in a lot of things if you start looking. It is very much in human nature to name things and find categories, and having two categories is the easiest form of it. It is limiting and sometimes myopic—well, biopic—perspective, but it can highlight some sudden beauty. Just take time and pay attention. Skygge. Hygge. Цвет и форма. Beyazlık. Huzursuzluk. 静けさ. 落ち着き. Grâce. Sérénité. Sombra. Sossego.
About the exhibition
Share up to 3 works for our juried review. Entries should be ready to hang and photographed in high resolution. After the deadline, jurors evaluate all paid submissions. Accepted artists will be notified via email with installation details.
